What the app does on device

Panel placement, series/parallel string math, temperature derates, inverter MPPT fit checks, conductor and OCPD suggestions, configuration compare, and permit one-sheet export all run locally. Designs you create are stored on your device unless you choose to share or export them yourself (for example via the system Share Sheet or by saving a PDF).

What we do not do

• No accounts or sign-in
• No third-party analytics SDKs
• No advertising networks or tracking pixels
• No sale of user information
• No cloud sync of your string designs by the app

Network use

The core workstation does not require a network connection to lay out arrays, validate strings, size DC runs, or build a one-sheet. If you contact support by email, that communication uses your own mail client and is separate from in-app processing.

Children

GridWatt String Desk is a productivity tool for solar string planning. It is not directed at children and does not seek data from anyone.
